In recent years, Tess Kemp and her Surreal Estate team have contributed in a great way to the future of the M4H area (Marconistraat) in general and the site of Uit Je Eigen Stad in particular. Sustainable, refreshing concepts with a relevant vision of living and working in the present. Designs that excel in feasibility and affordability. Clear architecture and optimal use of existing or recycled material add up to places where you like to work and/or live. We will continue to follow Tess and look forward to new plans!

At C-beta we rent out circular space for experiments, exhibitions and events. During the start-up phase, we had some sparring sessions with Tess and Bernd about how we can creatively create more appeal for the area and looked at alternative rental options. We were very impressed with the proposals they put forward. For example, to allow enthusiasts to develop a circular product by means of a competition or internship and to promote it themselves via social media. Bernd also shared nice examples of upcycling with us.

Hans and Tess have helped me tremendously with the development of a CSR concept. Tess' positive energy and commitment to the well-being of the earth has kept us true to the pure principles. In addition, she has the ability to keep everyone involved moving, making deadlines achievable. Hans then translated the concept into a functional design of the platform.
